Corvallis, OR – Updated

Do you believe that voting is a fundamental right and responsibility of Oregonians? Then Danny Jaffer, the candidate for Oregon House District 23, is your best choice.

Our current representative, Mike Nearman, has a terrible record on voting rights issues. Nearman voted against HB 2177, the bill that said people who proved they were citizens would be automatically added to the voter roll as nonaffiliated voters. They could choose a political party or ask to be removed from the roll later if they wished. This common-sense bill became law in 2015, but Nearman voted against it.

Danny Jaffer is the best candidate for our rural District 23. He was born and raised in Monmouth, worked his way through Oregon State University, then served for nearly 25 years as a pilot in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force Reserve. He earned a law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law and lives in rural Polk County. We need values of community, handwork, and public service in District 23. We need Danny Jaffer.
